My major focus is nature and wildlife preservation for which I have always had love and admiration. Art teaches me that mistakes are fixable and not everything must be perfect.

Breaking The Prejudices That Bind multimedia sculpture by J Ellen Austin JEGA Gallery. The multi media sculpture is made from two railroad connected to form a "T" laying on its side at the center is an antique saw blade is attached to the top of the cross and resembles a "christ" like head and hanbing off the head and left arm of cross are antique rusty chains adding to the effect the sculpture is rising up from an iron platform. J. Ellen the artist is asking you to debate and think about what meaning it has to the viewer.

This years’ art event opens March 6th 2015 for Women’s History Month and runs through April and the Ashland Gallery Association’s A Taste Of Ashland weekend. JEGA is welcoming artist entries for April! Each artist may submit up to two entries with the application form no later than March 23, 2015 for April 2015 Exhibit. There is a $10 submission fee per entry which will be waived for students with proper i.d.
