“Textures of Nature”

Pam Haunschild is an award-winning nature and wildlife painter. She works with bright, clear watercolors and acrylic inks in a semi-abstract way to capture the beauty of nature. She often uses paint in a way that mimics natural processes, e.g., washes of watercolor produce rivulets and wave-like patterns like those found in the ocean and other water bodies. Salts and stones texture paints in patterns that mimic wind-blown surfaces and geological layers. Her work is in many private and corporate collections. She was artist-in-residence at Lassen National Park in 2015 and continues to be inspired by her time there. Visit her website: www.pamhaunschild.com.
