Images Thru the Eye of the Photographer II
We’re open and ready to welcome you! Photography is so important to Ashland and we are continuing our show through August with new pieces. The images are varied and so are the techniques. Some are on fine photographic paper, some on canvas, some on metal.
Just for fun, the main wall was produced with a centerpiece of baboons in Africa by Judy Benson La Nier. Right below is a whole baboon family featuring our famous stuffed toy animals (not real of course). Surrounding the scene are various wild animal photos by Jim Langhofer who is soon returning to Ashland. Historic views are covered by Terry Skibby, Ashland’s premier Historic Commissions photographer. There is a black and white section for lovers of that style of photography. Next to it are some wonderful scenic panoramas depicting places you’d like to be right now but can’t get to. Lastly there’s a fantastic portrait by Pam Danielle of “Gramma Boom” as you’ve never seen her before!
Pop on your mask and come see Gallerie Karon! We are keeping our regular hours. Tuesday thru Saturday from 11 – 5 pm
