Whitney Rolfe and Aaron Taylor Featured at EdenVale Enoteca

February is a special month because we are happily hosting two talented artists! Come by EdenVale Enoteca, 17 N Main St in Ashland, to see the unique artwork of Whitney Rolfe and Aaron Taylor, former students of Southern Oregon University.

Whitney Rolfe is a recent graduate from Southern Oregon University, and has always been an Oregonian. She has always had an affinity for both the dark and
the bright, having been referred to as a “dark rainbow” for both her personal style as well as her abstract art. Bright and whimsical paintings are juxtaposed with her small intricate black and white drawings. As well as making art, she also creates braid-in synthetic dreads, which you can often see her wearing.

We will be hosting a talented local musician and a wonderful chef!

Kelvin Underwood got involved with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and has performed as a drummer during their 2009, 2010 and 2012 seasons, while also collaborating with a variety of artists, including Ashland’s Dancing People Company and the Southern Oregon University Percussion Ensemble. In addition to these collaborations, Kelvin spends time developing his own musical project “Meidoko” using taiko and other instruments and influences he has encountered over the years.

Kelvin Underwood will be here serenading us with his acoustic, alternative style. He presents versions of original, edgy, alternative rock material. The songs he will be performing can be found of his Space Challenger EP titled “After Shadows”. Kelvin also covers an array of hits that you will know and will want to sing along to.

Chef Daniel Gonzalez of Ashland Culinary Instruction will be here showcasing his talents with a food demo, where you can participate! Find out more about the new, local business: http://www.ashlandcooks.com/ or https://www.facebook.com/AshlandCulinaryInstruction/timeline
