Retzlaff Gallery (Art Building):

Of the Body, Haley Summerfield, BFA Thesis Exhibition

My work is visually exploring and recording the relationship people have with their bodies. Using a camera to perform interviews and using clay to capture points of connection while answering questions, it is my intent to create a dynamic and safe place for people to engage with the conversation surrounding the topic of body politics.

Meyer Memorial Gallery (Marion Ady Building):

From Within,  Dewy, Solo Exhibition

Imagine seeing beneath someone’s exterior and viewing the decisions that lead to their making. My paintings are abstract portraits that portray those life experiences, hidden beneath the facades we wear everyday. Patterns and textures make up the paths we have taken, the disasters we never saw coming, but without having lived through them we would not be who we are today. My work exposes this history and celebrates what remains.

Boise-Cascade Gallery (Marion Ady Building):

Framily, Sherry Amoore, Solo Exhibition

Framily is a combination of friends and family.

Framily is a body of work including friends, family, and found family, otherwise known as strangers. I use black and white film photography as a way to explore and express myself by eradicating the illusion of separation from each other, as my perception of humanity is one of unity. Framily highlights the importance of connection and intimacy by visually communicating the diverse expressions of emotional and interpersonal interactions that we as humans thrive and depend upon to survive.

Art Department Chairs Gallery (Marion Ady Building):

Interaction, Madeline Scannell, Solo Exhibition

Relationships between humans are complex and dynamic. Through my Interaction series I seek to capture intangible emotions found in varying stages of relationships, in addition to the development between individuals.

Auras and softening of images reflect the depth and levels of intimacy emulated in each stage of interaction.
