Patterns and Pathways: The Beauty of Geometry and Nature’s Landscapes
Visit us this month for a new show featuring Claudia Law’s art quilts and Elin Babcock’s geometric paper tiles and new assemblage works.
The Rogue World Ensemble will be performing During the First Friday Art Walk on October 6. They’ll take you on a global adventure in song and dance with their powerful rhythms.
Along with new assemblagé, Elin is displaying her “Geometric Paper Tiles”, which were inspired by tessellated tile patterns viewed while touring Turkey, Morocco, and Spain’s Alhambra.
Claudia’s focus is to combine fibers, paints, thread sketching, and embellishments to create texturally rich and beautifully colorful art quilts, featuring landscapes, Celtic knots, and themes from nature.
