Special Show in the Classroom: Quilting to Honor and Comfort

Quilts of Valor Foundation is a national grassroots organization started in 2003 by Catherine Roberts with the goal of covering all returning service men and women touched by war with a quilt that is a tangible reminder of Americans’ appreciation and gratitude. Stitched with love, prayers, and healing thoughts, over 84,000 Quilts of Valor have been presented to America’s combat veterans, ranging from World War II through Afghanistan. Come see the fabric art inspired by our appreciation for the sacrifices of the men and women deployed in the service of our country.
