Art & Soul Gallery proudly presents our August 2021 featured exhibit, “Adornment” by Eric Peterson.  During Covid time Eric’s masterful work has grown to include abstraction and collage and celebrates our multi-cultural world.

And First Friday returns with wine and chocolate!

August 6, First Friday, Eric will answer questions about his work from 5 -8 pm.  Limit of 25 visitors in the gallery at a time.  The exhibit will remain on display from August 3 – August 29. Come see Eric’s exciting new explorations.

About the Show:
This intense year of introspection and exploration has resulted in a new body of work from Eric Peterson. The inspiration for this recent work is cultural identity as expressed through dress and embellishment. These paintings explore “adornment” through building and excavating layers of paint, wax, stencils and collage capturing some of the beauty and mystery of our multi-cultural world. Eric’s palette and approach are influenced by this worldwide richness of pattern, color, texture and design. In this series, Eric celebrates the complexity of being human.
