"Crane Dance" Acrylic painting by Pam Haunschild
Art & Soul Gallery proudly presents our July 2021 featured exhibit, “Colors of the Pacific Northwest.” Pam’s work is set apart by her fantastical color and imaginative perspective. And First Friday returns with wine and chocolate!
About the Show:
“Have you ever seen a bright scarlet red mountain? Have you seen sandhill cranes with magenta, gold, teal, and purple feathers? You will in my paintings. My palette is actually quite limited – only four or five colors pulled from personal photos of beautiful Northwest locations. I then mix the rest of the colors from these few, which creates a sense of harmony in the work. The colors serve to express light, shape, and expanses of quiet and calmness. Come see a colorful interpretation of our beautiful Pacific Northwest landscapes and wildlife.” – Pam Haunschild
July 2nd, First Friday, Pam will demonstrate and answer questions about her work from 5 -8 pm. Appointments are available but not necessary at 30 minute intervals. Limit of 20 visitors in the gallery at a time. Stop by or make an appointment to see these magnificent paintings in person. The exhibit will remain on display from June 29 – August 1.
