The Language of Trees” by The Art & Soul Gallery Artists

First Friday reception Feb. 7 from 5 – 8 pm,
meet the artists and enjoy wine, refreshments and live music

In February 2020 the Art & Soul Gallery features all 27 of our member artists who have each created a mini-masterpiece inspired by the majesty and grandeur of a tree.  The gallery’s First Friday event also features wine, light refreshments and live music by Sidewalk Café. The show will be on display from February 4 – March 1.

“And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul.” John Muir

Trees are very special mystical beings; almost as diverse as the artists of the Art & Soul Gallery.  How does an artist who only paints the human form paint a tree?  How does an abstract artist paint a tree?  How does anyone try to capture the grandeur and majesty of a tree on a 9” x 12” canvas?

Come to the Art & Soul Gallery in February to find the answers to these questions and maybe even a few more …

Live Music by “Sidewalk Café” – The trio comprised of Beth Martin, violinist and singer, Craig Martin, guitarist, and Todd Ragland, fretless bassist plays a fun selection of swing, Gypsy jazz and bossa nova.
