“Off the Beaten Path” oil paintings by Chuck Prudhomme

Waimea Woody
As an oil painter I am interested in documenting and sharing a moment in time of that space between mankind and nature. I travel extensively looking for that ray of breaking light, a weather beaten factory, an old dairy farm, a vibrant street scene or a dramatic coastal sunset.
I was selected to paint a large Christmas Tree ornament for the White House in 2007, and was invited to a reception there by the First Lady
.
I was awarded Best of Show at the annual Plein Air Paintout in Casa Grande, Arizona in 2011.
I was selected to participate in The Favell Museum Invitational Art Show and Sale in Klamath Falls, Or. In 2013 and was featured in Southwest Art Magazine.
I am represented by The Gallery in Mt Shasta, Ca. Art on the Westside in Redding , Ca. and Art and Soul Gallery in Ashland.
