Art With a View

The Ashland Gallery Association (AGA) is proud to present an exciting new event to celebrate the Ashland’s visual arts. “Art with a View” is a day-long arts event held on the grounds of Gambrel Gallery, 1980 E. Main St., Ashland on Saturday, May 14th from 2 to 8 pm. This new arts event will feature over 22 artists displaying their most recent works, a silent auction of selected artwork, art demonstrations, art raffles, local live music, delicious food from two local food trucks plus beer, wine and soft drinks for sale.


“We are so excited to offer the thriving Ashland arts community this opportunity to show their works in a safe, outdoor space!”, said Cheryl Kempner, AGA Board Treasurer. “Gambrel Gallery’s property provides the perfect location, with amazing views of Grizzly Peak and the Siskiyous, and plenty of green space for artists and art appreciators alike. Oh, did I mention that the event is free to the public?” she added.


Musical entertainment during the day will include:


2:30 – 3:30 pm – The Danielle Kelly Trio performing classic jazz standards
4:00 – 5:00 pm – Dusty Rubies performing old-time folk music on fiddle, banjo, guitar, and sweet harmonies
5:30 – 6:30 pm – Wilderland, duet performing Americana on fiddle and guitar
7:00 – 8:00 pm – TC and the Reactions will get you dancing with some powerful rhythm & blues.


Two local food truck favorites will be on-site to temp your taste buds! Stone’s Jamaican Roots & Juice will be serving their famous Jerk Chicken and rice with red beans, plus vegetarian Jamaican dishes and juices. Martha’s Food Truck will be going south of the border serving savory Mexican entrées and sides. Also, two local favorite wines will be poured; Simple Machine and Long Walk Vineyards.


Parking is limited on Gambrel Gallery property with additional parking nearby (there will be a shuttle available). Carpooling and biking are encouraged. Please come celebrate the arts in Ashland at “Art with a View” at Gambrel Gallery property. Just look for the vintage red barn on East Main Street.
