Coming in April: A Taste of Ashland

Showcasing the best of the region’s art, food and wine, the Ashland Gallery Association's A Taste of Ashland for 2009 is set to take place the weekend of April 24-26 at galleries throughout downtown and the city’s Historic Railroad District. A Taste of Ashland has become one of the Rogue Valley’s most anticipated celebrations, pairing over twenty Ashland Gallery Association galleries with regional restaurants, wineries and brewing companies. A colorful Food & Beverage Guide as well as a walking map leads patrons through an "only-in-Ashland" sensory experience.

When and Where

On Saturday and Sunday, April 25th and 26th from noon to 4:00 PM, participants stroll from gallery to gallery experiencing what is truly "A Taste of Ashland." Because there is so much to see and experience, the Ashland Gallery Association recommends the purchase of weekend tickets, allowing a much more leisurely pace.

On Friday, April 24th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM a Gala Preview for the “Taste” will take place at the Historic Ashland Springs Hotel. The Gala includes musical entertainment, light refreshments, a no-host bar and the Fourth Annual A Taste of Ashland Artists’ Quick Draw & Auction, featuring talented artists creating a masterpiece in only an hour. Over the course of the weekend, the artwork is auctioned to the highest bidder by silent auction.

Friday Gala: FREE with a Saturday, Sunday or Weekend ticket. Otherwise, $10 at the door.

Saturday Only: $40
