I love the process of taking disparate items and putting them together to create a cogent whole. The more the objects have nothing to do with each other, nor be found together, the better. Layering the pieces adds complexity as well as visual interest. It is an intuitive process; a non-thinking activity with no right way to do it. I find that my life is like that too. Disparate activities, unrelated persons, places and things are all layered together and create my world. I want my art and my life to mimic each other: intuition, layers, complexity and beauty.
