“Did You Hear That?” 40 by 40
Karen plays the human form off the ground of her paintings often in evocative and sometimes surprising ways. Her use of color and space aid in her expression of emotion or connection often between two figures. After attaining a BFA at the San Francisco Art Institute, Karen participated in many shows in the Bay Area before moving to Ashland. Here she’s had two solo shows in the main gallery at the Rogue Gallery and Art Center and a one person exhibit at the Governor’s Reception Rooms in Salem. Her wide range of work, including “The Dance” and “Social Justice” series can be viewed at her Website.
