Workshop and Art Class Space
Available in Ashland
Since Ashland Art Center
closed its doors over a year
ago, we’ve all noticed a
great sense of loss to the
art community. AAC played
a vital role as a center for workshops,
classes, art events, studio space, and
just a great meeting place. It will be
difficult or even impossible to replace.
A new space, the primary working
studio of artist John Pugh, has opened
up and is offering 1200 square feet
for art workshops and classes. This
room, separate from the main studio,
is a dedicated classroom space and is
currently being used for a life drawing
group on Wednesday evenings.
Complete with a washroom,
kitchenette, and skylights, this space
is three blocks from the Plaza, with
easy parking. The room is fully
functional!
John has been working with local
artists, and Southern Oregon
University to provide art internships in
mural painting in the main studio.
If you’re interested in using the
classroom space please contact either
Jenay Elder or John Pugh.
