To me, a successful painting
pleases visually, but I hope
also elicits a response of
humor, curiosity or empathy from the characters I portray. In my work, I
strive for the line between abstract and “something there.”

Claudia Law’s goal is to capture the beauty of Nature and power of good
design, creating textile art made with integrity of quality, and embracing
the best of both abstract and realistic genres. She revels in color, and
rejoices in texture. Claudia’s use of multi-media techniques: paints,
fibers, folded raw-edged appliques, beading, fabric confetti, thread
sketching, hand stitching and 3-D fabric motifs bring rich texture and
vibrant life to each unique creation.

Award winning artist,
Suzanne Leslie, grew up in
California and now resides
in Ashland, Oregon and
works in pastels and oils.
She is known for her bold
use of color and loose
impressionistic style.
She enjoys painting the
landscapes of the Pacific Northwest and scenes from her travels around
the world. She also loves painting abstracts, sometimes using cold wax
medium with oils. Art is a passion to her and barely a day goes by when
she isn’t devoting hours to it.

I have been creating
whimsical clay and metal art
for over three decades. My
signature pieces are called
“Crazy Birds and Friends.” I
hand build vases, bowls, trays, and 3-D birds as well. To incorporate clay
and steel into garden art pieces I also cut rusted metal with a plasma
torch. Currently I am learning how to powder coat metal outdoor art. Call
me to visit my home studio at 447 Pape Street in Ashland.
