Inger’s contemporary bronze
sculpture display refined technique
to create figurative archetypes.
The sculptures incorporate
modern surfaces giving life
and movement to the density of
metal. These allegorical figures
intend to evoke emotion with
poetic and mystical aspects,
often highlighting human potential. Inger works in any scale, including
monuments by commission. Her dramatic paintings combine abstract
and realistic imagery, using many layers of paint, including line, drips, and
sanding, creating unique surfaces with thought-provoking themes.

Inspiration for my art comes from biology and the microscopic world.
Here are the amazing forms through which life manifests itself: cells
and parts of cells, tissues, organs and even whole plants, insects, and
bacteria. In 2021, “Endosymbiosis” was featured in the exhibit “Science
Friction” at the Center for Contemporary Culture of Barcelona, Spain.

Original and unique hand
fabricated sterling silver jewelry.
My designs are focused around
my own custom cut stones. I
take interesting rough material
and create unique polished
cabochons. I hand fabricate all
of my jewelry in sterling silver
using traditional silver-smithing
techniques. The jewelry I create
is one of a kind with an earthy,
enduring quality.

I have been fortunate to spend
much of my career as an ecologist,
and my recreation time exploring
nature. Every square inch of our
natural world contains something
scientifically interesting and
artistically beautiful. I like to pick
out one aspect of the environment
and hold it up for inspection, with
all its imperfections and variation.
By changing perspective, focus, season and habitat I have an infinite
palette and an unlimited source of inspiration.

“When I took up painting 12
years ago, after previous careers, I became intrigued by the emotions
that the interaction of light and shadow stir in me” After studying locally
primarily with Gabriel Lipper, she was drawn to the style of the old
masters and began extensive studies with David Leffel, Sherrie McGraw,
Jackie and Stacy Kamin and Gregg Kreutz via Art Student’s League in
New York and Bright Light Fine Art. She continues to paint with them,
evoking depth, drama, design and accuracy in her work and traveling
extensively to paint in the US, Europe and Americas. She is a member of
Oil Painters of America.
