Denise Kester is an artist, writer
and teacher. She is the author of,
“Drawing On The Dream,” a book
about her process as an artist and
printmaker. For 35 years her
workshops have included
printmaking, collage, surface
design, and book arts. Denise
exhibits her original work, including,
monoprints, altered figurines,
handmade books and cards
locally at The Miner’s Bazaar in
Jacksonville, OR. Her art and
works in progress are available for
purchase and viewing at her studio.

Denise welcomes visitors to her
studio by appointment only.
Stefani and Dan Seffinger are
kiln formed glass artists. Multiple
techniques and processes
are utilized in the design and
production of their functional and
sculptural pieces. Their home
studio is open by appointment most
afternoons and during the Ashland
Open Studio Tour in October.
Individual instruction is offered on
a limited basis.
Darla Claire is an artist and an
author. Her book I Changed My
Mind… It Changed My Life, was
published in 2020. It’s a story of
how she overcame obstacles in
her life to finally owning her talent
and desire as an artist. She was
awarded a 2020 Kops-Fetherling
Phoenix Book Award.
Darla’s paintings come from her
intuition and are predominantly
abstract and impressionist in style.
She uses acrylic paint, charcoal,
oil sticks, pastels, watercolors and
more. Her home studio and is open
by appointment.
Through calculated, rising tangles
of wool and plant fibers, Kristy
Kún’s experimental textiles
advance the sculptural capabilities
of hand-made felt. Compositions
reveal artistic visions inspired
by relationships and evolution
in nature, and the fluidity of the
materials themselves. Double Take
features Kristy’s work alongside,
and in collaboration with, sculptor
Christian Burchard. Their work can
also be found locally at Hanson
Howard Gallery. Double Take is
open for special events and by
appointment.
