Despite demand, tickets to the Taste remain limited so as to ensure that it is not over-crowded. The very popular free shuttle, AllAboard Trolley, will offer rides to all 17 galleries, but most are within walking distance. Main St., Ashland. Tickets can also be purchased, and wine glasses picked up, prior to and during the event weekend at the Ashland Plaza Kiosk from 12 noon to 2pm April 16 through April 22. The Kiosk will open at 11a.m. on April 23rd and 24th. Part of the funds raised go toward student art opportunities. The AGA’s goal is to promote Ashland as an art destination with professional and student art exhibits, First Friday gallery walks and educational opportunities. POSTER ART WINNER After ten years as the in-house artist for Harry & David I thought I’d never want to paint another pear, but here we go again. I set up this still life in my bathroom. In the winter it is the only room in the house that gets direct sun and I wanted a strong back light. Here is the resulting painting, alla prima oil on canvas.
