She has been teaching workshops at Kester Studio and nationally for 20 years. Her workshops include printmaking, collage, surface design, and book arts. Denise exhibits her original Monoprints at Hanson Howard Gallery and she exhibits handmade books, prints and originals at The Ashland Art Center. You can see her work at Kester Studio. Focused on exploring creativity, Diane designs a line of sewing patterns and art stencils. Teaching in her Ashland studio and nationally, Diane offers retreats & workshops in fabric printing and inventive clothing design. JoAnn, a felter and natural dyer, sells her finished work and teaches her favorite felting and printing techniques. Jo Ann’s creative focus is on combining natural elements with fiber to create unique textiles. Located in the eclectic south-side of Ashland, The Enclave is home to five unique artists: Gabriel Mark Lipper, Nicole Wasgatt, Corey Kahn, Inger Nova Jorgensen and Robyn Forsyth. In April 2015, the former print room of the Ashland Daily Tidings was transformed into a stunning working studio/gallery. This interdisciplinary group of established painters and sculptors each offer a distinct perspective on form, color and line. WORKING STUDIO is the membership category for artists in a shared studio, or individually, that is active and working, periodically open to the public. Visitors are offered a view of the art process in an informal atmosphere of sharing. When located within the bounds of the Gallery Tour Map, the Working Studio benefits from opening on First Friday. NEIGHBORING ARTS ORGANIZATIONS, our new membership category for galleries, art museums and group studios, in the Rogue Valley and bordering California counties, is established to encompass the wider community of visual arts and encourage further exploration and discovery of the amazing diversity in the fine arts here.
